The head of the information policy department of the presidential administration, Daiyrbek Orunbekov, stated the authorities' commitment to conducting transparent and fair elections, emphasizing that violations will not go unnoticed.
He reminded that earlier, state structures called on both candidates and voters to adhere to the law, noting that in case of violations, the voting results at certain polling stations would be annulled.
Despite these warnings, numerous violations have been recorded, including mass vote buying. In particular, serious violations were found in the 13th district, leading to the complete annulment of the results and the appointment of a re-vote. Candidates who received the most votes were disqualified, and previous election participants will not be able to participate in the repeat procedure, according to the decision of the Central Election Commission.
Moreover, violations were also identified in other regions. Videos have appeared on social media showing illegal actions, including mass distribution of money at polling station No. 5249 in the 8th district, which caused public outcry. As a result, the territorial commission annulled the results at polling stations No. 5249 and No. 5514.
Based on the complaints received, the voting results at polling stations No. 7030, No. 7029, and No. 7028 in the 26th district have also been annulled. In the 9th district, the results at polling stations No. 5039, No. 5050, No. 5054, No. 5577, No. 5040, No. 5041, and No. 5548 have been declared invalid due to mass violations and pressure on voters.
According to Orunbekov, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already registered all materials related to the violations and will provide a legal assessment of each of them. In addition to the videos, other statements have also been submitted to the ministry.
“The annulment of results at certain polling stations may affect the overall election results. We do not divide people into 'ours' and 'theirs'; if the law is violated, all candidates will be held accountable,” noted Daiyrbek Orunbekov.
