The event gathered numerous participants, including the university rector, Professor Abdilbaet Mamasydykov, the founder of the international club Sultan Boroshov, and the chief director of the National Cultural Center under the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Kumarbek Meymankulov. Creative figures, students of the composer, and admirers of his talent were also present.
The honored guests were the first to cut the red ribbon, thereby officially opening the center for studying the legacy of Ryspei Abdykadyrov. The center's exhibition featured a bust of the composer, his personal belongings, sheet music, books about him, as well as various media materials, which sparked lively interest among visitors.
The celebration continued in the large concert hall of the university, where the program "A Life Turned into Songs" (Kyrg. - Ырга айланган өмүр) took place, hosted by the chairman of the trade union committee of KUMU, the talented Kyrgyz artist Sheraly Egemberdiev. The evening began with a video dedicated to the activities of the international club named after Ryspei Abdykadyrov, including greetings from club members from Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Russia.
Professor Abdilbaet Mamasydykov, president of the "Ryspei Abdykadyrov" club and holder of the first-degree order of the international club, emphasized the significance of the composer's creative legacy, which inspires admiration worldwide. He also noted that the new center has a lot of work ahead in this area.
"Today, more than seventy clubs dedicated to Ryspei operate in various countries around the world, uniting over 1500 members. Thus, it can be confidently said that Ryspei Abdykadyrov is a composer of international stature," added Professor Mamasydykov.
As part of the program, Sultan Boroshov, the founder of the Ryspei Abdykadyrov club, was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" by the decision of the academic council of KUMU, along with an honorary certificate.
Ryspei Abdykadyrov, a talented composer, was born on January 12, 1941, in the village of Kyzyl-Bulak in the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region. From a young age, he began to engage in music and graduated from the Osh Pedagogical Institute in 1963. His career started at the Kara-Kulja People's Theater, after which he continued his work at the Jalal-Abad Theater and the capital's philharmonic. More than four hundred of his songs, including hits like "Өскөн жер," "Сагынам, туулган жер сени," "Түгөйүм," "Эсиңдеби," "Жүрөк вальсы," "Жүрөктү кеттиң жаралап," "Сагынуу," "Издейм сени," and many others, became popular among the people and resonated in the hearts of listeners.
Unfortunately, the composer passed away on September 12, 1994, after a long illness.
