As part of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, a headquarters has been established that will focus on addressing issues related to tailors sending their goods to the Russian Federation. This information was announced by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaiev in an interview where he summarized the past year and shared plans for the future.
Kasymaiev emphasized the importance of understanding in the context of increasing control from the Russian Federation over imported goods.
“Due to the increase in inspections, there is a buildup of vehicles at the border between Kazakhstan and Russia. In this regard, a delegation from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce was sent to analyze the situation at the border. The ministry has a headquarters that receives information on each case. We maintain communication with the Russian side to resolve emerging issues,” he explained.
Additionally, Kasymaiev mentioned the possible creation of a single operator that would simplify the process of passing goods from Kyrgyzstan.
The head of the cabinet also noted that a value-added tax has been introduced on the marketplaces Ozon and Wildberries.
“The question arose as to who would be responsible for paying this tax. The marketplaces agreed to act as tax agents: they will independently transfer the tax, which will be included in the price of goods for buyers. This issue has already been resolved for Ozon, and for Wildberries, it will be resolved in the coming days,” he added.
Kasymaiev also emphasized that the president has instructed to provide support to the textile industry, and the government is considering measures to provide benefits.
