At the meeting held on December 25, the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh discussed the draft on the amount of monetary reward established for the Chingiz Aitmatov Prize, which will be awarded in 2026.
Eldar Suimanov, head of the Committee on International Affairs, Security, Defense, and Migration, reported that the proposed amount of the prize is 1 million soms.
After the discussion, the deputies unanimously approved the draft resolution on the amount of the monetary reward, which will be in effect in 2026.
