According to them, the New Year celebrations in Osh took place in a peaceful atmosphere. To ensure public safety, law enforcement agencies operated in an enhanced mode in the central square, where the main festivities were held, and did not allow any violations of order.
Over the course of the day, 62 incidents were registered in Osh, according to the electronic log of the police department, of which 56 cases were solved on the spot. The majority of registered complaints were related to fraud. No reports were recorded related to festive events, as well as serious and particularly serious crimes.
In the central square, police officers were able to return 39 lost children to their parents.
