Deputy Chief Physician Aizhan Kalibekova reported that the mother of the triplets, Nazgul Zheentaeva, was hospitalized on December 6, 2025, at 33 weeks of pregnancy. The cesarean section was performed on January 2, when the pregnancy term was deemed appropriate.
Currently, the condition of both the triplets and their mother is assessed as satisfactory, and they are being prepared for discharge. According to Kalibekova, the girls weighed 3 kg, 3 kg 40 grams, and 3 kg 360 grams at birth. “Nazgul was under medical supervision for a month, and we are glad that everything went well,” she noted.
Nazgul Zheentaeva learned about her triplet pregnancy when she was 8 weeks along. She arrived in Osh from a hospital in the Jalal-Abad region. “At the end of October 2025, we tried to give birth in Manas, but we were not accepted due to the early term. The Osh maternity hospital welcomed us very warmly and provided the necessary care,” the woman shared. Nazgul added that her daughters were named Aliyma, Aisha, and Aizhan.
Zheentaeva, who is 39 years old, named one of her daughters after the mother of the chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev. “We chose the name Aliyma in honor of her mother. The name Aizhan was given in honor of the gynecologist who delivered the babies,” she reported.
After the birth of the triplets, the family received a certificate for 300,000 soms from the Akimat of the Chatkal district. Additionally, Nazgul appealed to the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, requesting consideration for providing an apartment for the future growth and development of her daughters.
Besides the newborns, Nazgul has three other children — two daughters and a son.
According to Aizhan Kalibekova, the maternity hospital in Osh is the only institution that accepts pregnant women from all over southern Kyrgyzstan. In 2022, 12,468 births were registered here, including 240 cases of multiple births.
