According to her data, from January 1 to January 7, 16 children were born in the maternity ward of the Jayil Territorial Hospital.
"On the first night of the new year, three babies were born. There were no births on January 2, but starting from the 3rd, three births have been recorded every day," Kalpetakhunova said.
She emphasized that even during the holiday days, not only on-duty doctors but also all necessary medical specialists are working.
Additionally, according to her, there has been an increase in the number of cases of ARVI over the past three days, mainly among children. During this period, 18 cases of the illness have been recorded in the district, 14 of which are among children. Currently, 297 patients are receiving treatment in the district hospital," the deputy director added.
