To the joy of the whole family, on December 31, 36-year-old Munara Sultanalieva became a mother for the fourth time at the maternity ward of the O. Kökkezoov Center for General Medical Practice, located in the Ak-Talinsky district.

According to doctor Mayram Toktomambet kyzy, both the mother and the newborn girl are lucky — their condition is stable.

Munara's husband, Adilet Sagynaliev, does not hide his joy about the birth of their daughter on New Year's Eve and shares the details:

“On December 30, my wife reported abdominal pain. I suspected that labor had begun, and after lunch, I took her to the hospital. That day everything went smoothly. I visited her a couple of times on December 31. Doctor Aizada informed me that contractions were starting. When I came back in the evening, she said: ‘She’s not going to give birth yet, you can go home, we will call you.’ I left.

Shortly after, around eight in the evening, I received a call from the doctor: my wife had given birth, but surgery was needed, and my consent was required. I replied that if it was necessary, they should proceed with the surgery, and I immediately went to the hospital. At that moment, my wife had already been taken to the operating room. The daughter was born with complications and was placed in a vacuum. I stayed at the hospital until 2:30 AM, and then I was allowed to see both my wife and daughter,” he recounted.

“Choosing a name always reflects hope for goodness and well-being. Usually, we try to ensure that the name goes well with the names of the older children. But this time we decided in advance: if a son is born, we will name him Aydar; if a daughter, Mederina. Meder symbolizes ‘the one who gives strength and support.’ Since we had a girl, we chose the name Mederina,” Adilet Sagynaliev explained.

He also shared an interesting story from his life.

“During my studies, one of my sisters was pregnant, and my grandmother wrote the name ‘Mederina’ in the calendar in case a girl was born. In the end, a boy was born, and the name was not used. This also influenced our choice. Moreover, children give parents strength. Coming home tired from work, you see how the children greet and hug you — and all worries disappear. We wanted our daughter to also become a source of inspiration for us,” he noted.

According to him, the older son and daughter warmly welcomed their new sister. The youngest, meanwhile, is worried: “But who will cuddle me? You will stop calling me жөжө (chick)!” She has already made an arrangement with her mom: “You will sleep with the baby, and I will sleep with dad.” She feels that she is getting less attention.

On the day of their daughter's birth, the father called from the village and said: “Try to register the date as January 1, since your grandfather also has a birthday on that day.” I replied that it wouldn’t work that way — everything is registered at once. My grandfather, Sagynaly, was indeed born on January 1,” he added.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the maternity and surgical departments of the Ak-Talinsky Center for General Medical Practice. On New Year's Day, they stayed in their places and responsibly performed their duties alongside my wife. Yesterday, the deputy akim of the district, Kanybek Esenaliev, came with gifts and inquired about her condition, and today we were visited by the head of the region, Nurbek Satarov,” he concluded.

Munara Sultanalieva was born in 1989 in the village of Bayzak in the Jumgal district. She graduated from the philological faculty of the Bishkek Humanities University and began her career as a freelance journalist at one of the newspapers in Bishkek, where she met her husband.

For the next 8-9 years, she worked as a teacher at the Tynchtyk kindergarten in the village of Bayet, for about 2 years at the Baigönchök-Kelechegi kindergarten in the village of Baigönchök, and then for about a year served as the director of the three-hour kindergarten Mariyam in the village of Kayindy-Bulak. Currently, Munara is the director of the Cholpon kindergarten in the same village.

Before Mederina's arrival, the family already had one son and two daughters.
