Anara Baigabatova Appointed Director of the Naryn Regional Historical and Ethnographic Museum

Anara Kazakbaevna Baigabatova has been appointed as the director of the Naryn State Regional Historical and Ethnographic Museum named after Kaken Mambetaliev.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, Anara Baigabatova will begin her duties as museum director on December 12, 2025, with a probation period set for three months.

Anara Baigabatova was born on December 15, 1966, in the village of Bolshevik, located in the Moscow district of Chui region.

She graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of Kyrgyz State University in 1988, and in 2022, she received a second degree specializing in library science at the I. Arabayev Kyrgyz State University.

According to her education, Anara is a mathematician-educator and a librarian-bibliographer. In her professional career, she has worked for a long time in the field of education and culture. She began her career in 1988 as a mathematics teacher at the secondary school in Ottyk, Naryn district, and later was appointed head of the educational department at the Children's Education Center in Ak-Tal district.

Since 2010, Anara Baigabatova has held various managerial positions at the Naryn Regional Library, and since 2019, she has been leading this institution as its director.
