Aisha has been diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma. Her parents noticed an abnormal glow in their daughter's eyes and decided to see a doctor.

Meerim, Aisha's mother, recalls: "I didn't immediately understand what it could mean. Later, it became clear that it was a malignant tumor. We went to the Republican Oncology Center, where an examination was conducted under anesthesia, and that’s when we received the diagnosis."

Since then, the family's life has changed. Aisha underwent six courses of chemotherapy in the pediatric oncology department in Bishkek.

Meerim shares: "Each course brought hope, but also fear. We hoped the tumor would shrink, but the doctors said it had not yielded results and we needed to look for another solution."

The girl was sent to Tashkent, where she underwent three courses of selective intra-arterial chemotherapy.

Unfortunately, there were no improvements there either. Each course cost about $4,000. We were forced to sell everything we could, borrowed money, and asked for help from acquaintances," she recounts.

The family sought assistance in Moscow, at the S. N. Fedorov Eye Microsurgery Clinic.

However, treatment there also did not yield results, and the doctors removed Aisha's right eye. Saving her left eye is the girl's last chance to see the world, Meerim says.

At the moment, Aisha has about 40% vision left in her left eye. We must do everything possible to preserve it.

After a long search, the family finally received a response from Switzerland. The doctors agreed to accept Aisha and expressed hope for the possibility of preserving her vision.

According to Meerim, "we were told that there is a chance, but the treatment costs 50,000 euros. For us, this is an unaffordable amount. We live solely on my husband's salary, and I do not work because I spend all day with my daughter."

Urmatt, the girl's father, works as a locksmith, while Meerim is a homemaker.

Meerim appeals to people with kind hearts: "Even 100 soms can become a chance for Aisha. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who has supported us and prayed for our daughter."

We just dream of our daughter being able to see this world.
