According to "Bugu-Ene," the pelican was discovered by a resident of Archal, Iskender, who was grazing sheep with his son Amirhan. During their walk, they noticed the "wonder-bird" at the edge of the village and realized that it was injured and in a weak condition. To protect the pelican from potential predators, Iskender took it to his yard and began looking for help.
According to the fund's data, the bird is in a very emaciated state but still shows interest in food. Currently, it cannot eat on its own.
This is not the first case of pelicans arriving at the rehabilitation center. Earlier, on October 15, inspectors from the Chui Regional Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources transferred a pelican found in the Chui region to "Bugu-Ene."
