“I didn’t immediately understand what we were facing. Later, it turned out that it was a malignant tumor,” recalls Meerim, Aisha's mother. The family was referred to the Republican Oncology Center, where a diagnosis was confirmed under anesthesia.
Since then, the family's life has changed. Aisha underwent six courses of chemotherapy in the pediatric oncology department in Bishkek.
“Each course brought us hope, but also fear. We hoped for a reduction in the tumor, but the doctors said the treatment was ineffective and we needed to look for other options,” shares Meerim.
Then the girl was taken to Tashkent, where she underwent three courses of selective intra-arterial chemotherapy.
“However, there were no improvements there either. Each course cost 4 thousand dollars. We sold everything we could, took out loans, and asked for help from acquaintances,” the mother recounts.

The family sent a request to Moscow, to the Eye Microsurgery Clinic named after Academician S. N. Fedorov.
“Unfortunately, the treatment in Moscow did not yield results, and Aisha had her right eye removed. Saving the left eye is our daughter's last chance to see the world,” she says.
At the moment, Aisha has about 40% vision left in her left eye. We must do everything possible to preserve it.

After long searches, the family received a positive response from Switzerland, where doctors agreed to accept Aisha and expressed hope for successful treatment.
“We were told that there is a possibility to save her vision, but the treatment requires 50 thousand euros. This amount is unaffordable for us. We live only on my husband's salary, and I do not work to be close to my daughter,” explains Meerim.
Aisha's father, Urmat, works as a locksmith at "Teploseti," while her mother manages the household.
“We appeal to all kind people. Even 100 soms can become a chance for Aisha. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who has supported and prayed for our girl during this difficult time,” says the mother.
Our main dream is for our daughter to be able to see this world.
