In a recent statement, Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev confirmed that the country continues to view Russia as an important strategic partner and ally. He noted that some provocative comments, which do not reflect the real interstate agenda, should not attract special attention.
According to Kulubaev, the interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Russia is carried out on a solid foundation and within various international and regional structures, such as the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the CIS. These formats contribute to stable political dialogue and practical cooperation in the field of collective security and regional resilience, based on mutual respect and consideration of each other's interests.
The minister also emphasized that Kyrgyzstan analyzes the current situation from an objective standpoint, which allows for strengthening cooperation mechanisms and excludes the prerequisites for possible conflicts. The country's foreign policy remains constructive, aimed at enhancing trust, stability, and interaction in the region.
Kulubaev paid special attention to the upcoming state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan in November 2025, noting that the relations between the two countries have significant potential for further development.
He also added that Kyrgyzstan will continue to adhere to a balanced foreign policy aimed at strengthening trusting relationships and cooperation with international and regional partners.
