
President of the United States Donald Trump has initiated the creation of an international World Council on Gaza, inviting leaders from several countries to participate. This new forum is intended to facilitate conflict resolution and promote peace in the region.
One of the first to receive an invitation was the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He responded to Trump's letter, confirming Tashkent's readiness to become a founding member of the World Council.
Additionally, a similar proposal was made to the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Tokayev's press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibay, reported that he has already expressed gratitude to Trump and agreed to participate in the new organization.
An invitation was also sent to Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov clarified that the document was received through diplomatic channels and is currently under review, while the Russian side is awaiting further discussions with the U.S. to clarify the details of this initiative.
As for the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, he also received an invitation from Trump. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus reported that Lukashenko received this proposal positively and expressed his readiness to participate in the activities of the new international council.
According to information from Bloomberg, the U.S. administration had previously considered the possibility of financial contributions from countries wishing to secure a permanent seat on the World Council, discussing contributions of at least one billion dollars. However, at this time, the official terms of participation for countries, including financial obligations, remain unknown.
