The first forum, held in 1986 at the initiative of Chingiz Aitmatov, became a unique platform for interaction among outstanding representatives of culture, science, and art from around the world.
Arslan Koichiev emphasized that the main goal of the forum remains unchanged: to promote humanitarian values, expand international intellectual dialogue, and strengthen Kyrgyzstan's position in global humanitarian processes. He noted that the anniversary event should meet international standards and occupy an important place on the cultural map of the world.
At the meeting, participants noted the importance of ensuring that the forum's theme corresponds to current global challenges and reflects the historical legacy established by Aitmatov. Ideas were proposed to strengthen the concept and content of the event.
In conclusion of his speech, Koichiev instructed all involved structures to organize coordinated work for the preparation of the forum, emphasizing that the deadlines are approaching.

Issyk-Kul Forum is an international intellectual and humanitarian platform where global problems of humanity, as well as the role of culture, science, and moral values in the development of civilization, are discussed.
The forum was founded in 1986 at the initiative of Chingiz Aitmatov to gather leading thinkers, writers, scientists, and public figures from the East and West on the shores of Issyk-Kul at a time when the world remained divided by the "Iron Curtain".
The first event became a unique occurrence for the late Soviet era, uniting representatives of various ideologies and cultures in an open dialogue format.
