In a comment, a representative of the Pro League noted that Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr, is dissatisfied with the team not strengthening with new players during the last transfer window. According to media reports, this dissatisfaction may lead him to decide to boycott the club's games and leave during the next summer transfer window.

“The system of the Saudi Professional League is based on the principle of independence of each club, which leads to the same rules for all,” the league representative noted.

Each club has its own board of directors, management, and football administration that makes decisions about player recruitment, expenses, and overall strategy, based on a financial plan that ensures sustainability and competitiveness. This structure applies to all clubs in the league.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been actively involved in the life of Al-Nassr since his arrival and has played an important role in the club's ambitions. Like any outstanding athlete, he aims for victories. However, as emphasized in the statement, no individual—even one as significant as Ronaldo—can make decisions outside of their club.

Recent transfer decisions highlight this independence. One club chose one path for strengthening, while another took a completely different approach. These decisions were made by the clubs within the approved financial conditions.

The competition in the league also shows that the point difference between the four leaders is minimal, indicating that the title race remains tense. This confirms that the system is working as intended.

“Football remains the focus—on the field, where it belongs—and we strive to maintain high standards of competitiveness for players and fans,” added the Pro League representative, according to ESPN.

Ronaldo expressed his dissatisfaction to the Pro League management, hinting at the possibility of leaving the country due to unsatisfactory transfers.

According to sources, the 41-year-old forward is unhappy with the decision of the Saudi Arabia Sovereign Fund (PIF) to transfer Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal, while Al-Nassr did not acquire new players.

It is noted that Ronaldo's dissatisfaction is growing. He feels “betrayed” and may end his three-year stay in Saudi Arabia. Previously, the Portuguese missed the match of the 20th round of the Pro League against Al-Riyadh (0:1).
