In the Chuy region, in the very heart of the Moscow district, there are two abandoned buildings that are in extremely unsatisfactory condition. These structures, with numerous holes in the doors, are filled with garbage and are gradually deteriorating: ceilings are collapsing, and walls are cracking.

According to information obtained from a Turmush correspondent, over 100,000 people of various nationalities live in this area. In the center of the village of Belovodskoye, the problem of two social facilities has remained unresolved for many years, with their buildings becoming completely unfit for use, causing concern among local residents. One of these buildings is the House of Culture, built in 1933.

Local residents report: “All the doors are riddled with holes, the ceiling is collapsing, the walls are crumbling, and inside there is nothing but garbage; the building is abandoned.” This is indeed the case. The House of Culture, located near the central market and park, is covered in graffiti, and in winter, homeless people sleep inside its premises.

The second building is located on the territory of the Center for General Medical Practice and was constructed in 1949-1950. According to medical workers, therapeutic and gynecological departments operated there during the Soviet era. However, the building has not been used for over 20 years and is gradually falling into disrepair. The relevant authorities have official reports on its condition, doctors report.

The issue of abandoned facilities in the center of the district has been raised multiple times by local authorities. Letters have been sent to higher instances, and deputies have visited the site to assess the situation. Nevertheless, residents continue to wait for a real solution to their problems for many years.

What is preventing the resolution of this issue for 20-30 years? Perhaps a lack of attention to culture and healthcare, or insufficient funding? These questions raise concerns among local residents.
