In January 2026, the growth rate of the industrial sector increased to 12.7% year-on-year. Significant contributions to this result came from areas such as the extraction of metallic ores, food production, and the manufacturing of non-metallic goods.
However, the overall growth is negatively impacted by a decrease in textile production, which fell by 8.5% year-on-year.
“We believe that with the adaptation of businesses to new supply standards in the EAEU countries and the launch of a preferential lending program, the textile sector will be able to restore its performance,” emphasize EDB analysts.
