Note: In 1931, the keys supplying the city with water, with a total capacity of 35 liters per second, were taken; a supply network to the city was laid for 28.7 km; a city network of 13 km was laid; 11 industrial enterprises were connected to the network; 7 house connections were made; 19 street water distribution columns were installed, and 74 fire wells were established.

In 1932, the construction of the second phase of the water supply was completed, 42 house connections were made, of which 14 were industrial enterprises, 4 street water distribution points were installed, 5 fire wells were established, a street water supply network of 2.3 km was laid, and fittings for the water reservoir were prepared.

Note: In 1931, a gravel road was laid for 1600 m, costing 24,656 rubles. The city was connected by a highway to the leather factory. Sidewalks were constructed. A total of 858 m³ of cobblestones were prepared and delivered, 1500 m² of tiles were produced, and a trial paving was completed near the buildings of the hotel, the regional committee, and the police - 1 km.

In 1932, 37,134 m² of streets were paved, 6 km of sidewalks were laid, 31 pipe bridges were installed, 7 stone bridges were built, and 45 old bridges were repaired, with a total investment of 326,000 rubles.

Note: - In 1931, a) During the spring planting season of 1931, 16,000 seedlings were planted on the streets of the city and 3,000 seedlings of various tree species were planted in city gardens and parks; b) Work was carried out on planning, clearing, rejuvenating trees, etc., for the improvement of the Red Star Park, the Oak Park (fencing), and the alley on Dzerzhinsky Street; c) An autumn seed collection was conducted from the city's tree plantings for the needs of the city nursery; d) A small (50 m²) greenhouse was built in the Red Star garden. Total investments amounted to 32,000 rubles.

In 1932, a) During the spring planting season, 45,000 seedlings of tree plantings were planted; b) All trees in city parks and the Dzerzhinsky alley were cleaned; c) A plot of land was laid out and planned for a park in the working area; d) A nursery of green plantings was established on 144 hectares, of which 20 hectares were developed during the spring planting season, specifically: 353,000 poplar cuttings were planted, 0.5 thousand seedlings were planted, 0.5 hectares of maple were sown, 2.5 hectares of elm, and 6000 roots of linden, walnut, ash, oak, smooth-leaved maple were planted. 10 kg of apple seeds were sown, 2000 roots of Almaty wild apples were planted. Seeds of spherical caragana were planted on 0.5 hectares and common caragana on 0.5 hectares, 3 hectares of high-grade corn were sown, 2 hectares of melons were planted, and 35 hectares of swamps were drained with drainage ditches, totaling 451 rubles invested.

X. IRRIGATION

Note: In 1931, work was completed on the concrete lining of the main city irrigation canal for 4 km. 193 concrete bridges (pipes) were laid; 4 wooden bridges were built; old bridges were repaired; total investments amounted to 16,762 rubles.

In the fight against floods, the banks of the Alamedin River were reinforced over a length of 800 m, and the dam at the top of the city was repaired. Total investments amounted to 10,000 rubles.

In 1932, 5 km of new canals were dug and 1 km of cobblestones were laid; the canal network was cleaned and expanded by 4.5 km.

Repair of the street irrigation network: the Atbashinsky canal was lined with 2000 p/m of the main canal. 500. Total investments amounted to 70,000 rubles.

Note: - In 1931, cultural and educational work was organized. Two reading rooms were established (in the working town and Raskidaevka). A theater for working youth was organized in the working area. A children's theater was established. A circus was opened.

Illiteracy eradication. During the academic year 30/31, 4147 people graduated from literacy schools.

Social protection of minors. 135 homeless children are registered and receive benefits, and 68 people are employed.

Work with national minorities. Three women's corners, three red tea houses, a drama circle, and three sewing schools were organized. City libraries. 27 mobile libraries were organized in the working area, and a reading room was opened in the Recreation Garden.

Note: - In 1931, the number of health posts increased by 3, and the load on the outpatient network increased by 35%, and on hospitals by 28%.

Sanitary and preventive work was organized. The servicing staff increased to 2 doctors, systematic inspections of products at the market and inspections of residential buildings for their sanitary condition were conducted. The work of the resort commission was organized.

In 1932, the number of health posts increased to 10 (3 outpatient clinics were reorganized into health posts). The ambulance service increased the number of daily calls to 10. Two houses were acquired for infectious disease barracks with 120 beds each. The load on the outpatient network increased by 35%, and on hospitals by 28%. The construction of the first phase of the stadium was completed. Total investments amounted to 30,000 rubles.

Four mobile disinfection chambers were put into operation. Two vaccination points were organized (typhus, smallpox). Disinfection of tea houses and dormitories is being carried out, and regular inspections of products at the market are established.
