According to information provided by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, a state notary of the Issyk-Kul region, K.K.K., born in 1976, has been detained as part of a criminal investigation.
During operational activities, facts were uncovered regarding K.K.K.'s regular receipt of cash for providing notarial services, with amounts significantly exceeding the established state duty rates. Investigators found that the notary's actions violated the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Notaries" and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the KR dated February 19, 2026, No. 121, which states that payment of the state duty must be made exclusively before the notarial act and in a cashless form through bank payments.
Furthermore, depending on the complexity of the notarial actions performed, the illegally obtained amounts ranged from 1,000 to 20,000 soms.
