As a result of the severe storms that have affected the western, southwestern, and south-central regions of Paraná, meteorological services have recorded wind gusts ranging from 180 to 250 km/h, with some areas exceeding 250 km/h.
Local authorities have reported that work on analysis and monitoring is ongoing. Meteorologists note:
“We will monitor the situation, analyzing photographs and aerial images with the support of civil defense. If necessary, we may change the classification of this phenomenon, as it has proven to be extremely dangerous.”
