The National Chess Championship of Mongolia for adults took place at the Independence Palace on November 22–23, 2025.
According to information from the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports, young chess player ANAND Tsogtbilgeg, who is only 11 years old, became the winner in the men's rapid category, scoring 8.5 points out of 9 rounds without a single defeat.
In the women's rapid category, the winner was international master MÖNGÖNZUL Bat-Erdene, who scored 7.5 points in 9 rounds at the age of 20.
The winners of the 13th rapid tournament, the 19th blitz tournament among men, and the 16th blitz tournament among women will have the opportunity to participate in the World Championship in rapid and blitz, which will take place next month in Doha, Qatar.
