President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of an internal reboot aimed at strengthening state resilience.

Among the key appointments: Kyrylo Budanov has become the new head of the Office of the President, with his main efforts focused on security issues and the negotiation process.

Oleh Ivashchenko has also been appointed as the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. Previously, he held leadership positions in the GUR and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. A decision on the new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service will be made soon.

The Minister of Internal Affairs is expected to present a candidate for the new head of the State Border Guard Service.

Mykhailo Fedorov has been nominated for the position of Minister of Defense. The President noted his achievements in developing the "Drone Line" and digitalizing public services.

Denys Shmyhal will continue to work in the team, heading another area of state activity.

Additional measures include:

Preparation of a draft law to reform the State Bureau of Investigations, which is planned to be presented to the Verkhovna Rada in January.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa will meet with combat brigades to discuss measures to strengthen Ukraine's positions.

Changes in the military education system are also planned, taking into account the experience gained during the current hostilities.

The President added that personnel changes will continue, and a meeting of security advisors with participants from Europe and the USA is scheduled for the next day.
