A psychologist hour will be introduced in Kazakh schools and offices will be opened to help victims of violence

The concept covers four key areas concerning children's rights in the fields of safety, education, health, as well as social protection and the right to family.

“To assess the effectiveness of the implemented measures, 10 indicators are provided, and the total number of activities amounts to 158, for which 1.3 trillion tenge is also allocated,” Suleimenova specified.

In the area of "Safety," it is planned to expand the principle of "Law and Order," which will help create a safe environment for children to live and learn. The ideological basis for education will be the campaign "Taza Kazakhstan."

“There are already 20 psychological support centers operating in the country, safety lessons have been introduced in schools, and a contact center 111 is functioning. As part of the new concept, schools will start conducting an hour for educational psychologists and 40 offices will be opened to assist children who have suffered from violence,” the minister added.

Regarding the area of "The Right of the Child to Education," the emphasis is placed on ensuring equal opportunities for quality education. Suleimenova noted that “the professional development of teachers and the updating of educational programs are important steps in this direction.”

“A key point of the concept is the quality organization of inclusive education. For children with special needs, activities are planned to expand the network of consultations, develop correctional support offices and autism centers, as well as provide systematic support for such children in educational institutions,” the minister emphasized. This will help reduce the number of children studying at home due to health conditions and ensure their participation in the educational process.

Licensing of organizations that provide special psychological and pedagogical assistance is also planned.

The document emphasizes the importance of the family institution, parental responsibility, and social support. In particular, “measures aimed at strengthening the family institution and increasing the responsibility of parents and foster families are provided.”
