In the southern and southeastern regions of Kazakhstan, heavy rain and snowfall are forecasted from February 14 to 16. Deteriorating weather conditions are expected across the country, including increased wind, ice formation, and fog, as reported by "Kazhydromet".
Forecasters note that on February 14, most of Kazakhstan will be under the influence of an anticyclone, which will provide predominantly dry weather. However, starting from February 15, a northwestern cyclone will begin to move into the western regions, bringing rain and snow, as well as a rise in temperature as it moves eastward.
In the south and southeast of the country, weather conditions will remain unstable. The passage of atmospheric fronts associated with the southern cyclonic trough will lead to mixed precipitation, including heavy rain and snowfall on February 14 and 15.
Additionally, throughout the republic, there may be increased wind and the formation of ice and fog.
