In the USA, hundreds of fake truck driver training schools have been identified

As part of this operation, covering all 50 states, more than 1,400 inspections were conducted with the participation of over 300 inspectors. As a result, many training centers that did not meet the established standards of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) were identified. Many of them used fake addresses, lacked qualified instructors, or did not teach drivers important rules, such as transporting hazardous materials.

Some educational institutions even admitted that they did not meet the requirements of their own states. As a result of the inspections, 109 institutions decided to remove themselves from the national registry, while 448 received notices of potential removal due to violations of basic safety standards.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy expressed dissatisfaction that the trucking industry had long operated "like the Wild West," and emphasized that authorities intend to strengthen oversight at all stages of driver training to enhance road safety.

This initiative is part of a broader program to enhance regulation in the freight transportation sector, which also includes tightening English language proficiency requirements and measures to prevent unqualified foreign nationals from obtaining commercial licenses.
