In Mexico, the leader of one of the largest drug cartels has been eliminated. Unrest has begun.
President Claudia Sheinbaum confirmed that federal authorities are actively cooperating with regional governments and are in control of the situation. She noted that "in most regions of the country, the situation remains stable," and information about operational activities is regularly published through official law enforcement channels.
