According to available information, Khamenei became a victim of a joint attack by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory. On the morning of March 1, U.S. President Donald Trump announced his death, which was later confirmed by Iranian authorities.
According to Fars news agency, family members of Khamenei also died as a result of the attacks, including his daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and one of his daughters-in-law.
The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, declared that the death of the supreme leader is "a declaration of open war on all Muslims" and stated the country's intention to respond to this act of aggression.
