According to Rey, "there are more than 3,000 people in the UAE and over 1,000 in Qatar. All of them are accommodated in hotels and are in a calm environment. It is important to note that they should not be confused with other passengers who are also in these countries and need assistance. Our tourists are under the control of the guarantee system and are receiving support from tour operators."
Additionally, the head of the fund added that about 200 Kazakhs are currently in Mecca and Medina.
Although the skies over Saudi Arabia are still open, Rey noted that the situation may change. The issue of repatriation flights is not currently relevant.
"Our airlines are ready to fulfill their obligations, however, the current situation in the air is extremely dangerous and does not allow for flights," she emphasized.
Rey also assured that all tourists with a valid tour code are provided with accommodation and meals at the expense of the fund. As for Kazakh citizens who traveled to these countries independently, she stated that "they should rely only on their own resources."
