In Astana, changes have occurred in the flight schedule at the airport due to adverse weather conditions and operational issues on the part of the airlines, the airport's press service reported.
As of today, 11 flights arriving from Almaty, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kostanay, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Uralsk, Bishkek, and Omsk are delayed. Of these, two flights are delayed for technical reasons, and three due to the need for aircraft replacement.
“The late arrival of the aircraft is the reason for the delay of the other flights,” the airport clarified.
As for departing flights, nine of them are also delayed heading to Shymkent, Petropavlovsk, Semey, Almaty, and Omsk. Two flights are not departing due to weather conditions in Astana, while the others are delayed due to the late arrival of the aircraft.
Additionally, cancellations have been recorded: three arriving flights and eight departing flights have been canceled due to poor weather conditions.
On Tuesday, variable cloudiness is observed in Astana, with occasional snow, blizzards, and fog. The wind is blowing from the northwest at a speed of 9–14 m/s, with gusts reaching 15–20 m/s, and in some areas, wind speeds may reach 23 m/s.
