In the eastern parts, the wind will shift direction from southwest to northwest, while in other areas it will blow from the northwest at a speed of 7-12 meters per second. In the steppe zones, wind speeds will increase to 18-20 meters per second, with the possibility of dust storms during gusts of up to 24 meters per second.
The temperature in most regions will drop slightly. In the area of Lake Uvs, the Darhad basin, and the valleys of the Ider and Tes rivers, it may fall to -19...-24°C. In the mountain ranges of the Mongol-Altai, Khangai, Khövsgöl, and Kherlen, as well as in the valleys of the Orkhon, Selenge, Kharaa, Yeröö, Tuul, and Terelj rivers, the temperature will be -14...-19°C. In the southeastern part of the Gobi region, temperatures are expected to range from +1 to -4°C, in the Altai Mountains and the southwestern part of the Gobi region from -4 to -9°C, while in other areas it will be from -10 to -15°C.
In Ulaanbaatar, cloud cover will decrease, and no snowfall is forecasted. A northwest wind will blow at a speed of 6-11 meters per second. The air temperature is expected to range from -15 to -17°C, which is 9 degrees lower than the previous day.
