On February 4, a sharp drop in temperature is observed in the northern regions of Mongolia, accompanied by strong winds.

The weather is mostly cloudy in most areas. Snowfall and blizzards are expected in the western and northern parts of the aimags, as well as in some areas of the central and eastern regions.

The wind will shift from the southwest to the northwest at a speed of 5-10 meters per second, with some places experiencing speeds of up to 12-14 meters per second.

The temperature around Lake Uvs, the Darkhad Basin, and in the valleys of the Tes, Orkhon, Kharaa, and Yeruu rivers will range from -23 to -28°C. In the basins of the Zag-Baidrag, Ider, Eg, Uur, Selenge, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz rivers, in the valley of the Khalkh river, and in the Dargyan steppe, the temperature will be from -17 to -22°C. In the Altai Mountains and the foothills of the Khangai Mountains, the temperature will fluctuate between -5 and -10°C, while in the southeastern parts of the Gobi, it is expected to be +1 to -4°C, and in other regions, it will be -16 to -18°C.

In Ulaanbaatar, cloudy weather with light precipitation is forecasted at night. During the day, cloud cover will decrease, and precipitation will cease. The wind will change from southwest to northwest at a speed of 5-10 meters per second. At night, the temperature in the Yaarmag-Songin area will be -26 to -28°C, in other places -21 to -23°C, while daytime temperatures will range from -17 to -19°C.
