More than 120 athletes from 18 different countries participated in these competitions. Mongolia was represented by eight athletes, including international masters Selenge Nyamdoo, Kherlen Nyamdoo, Saikhanjargal Otgonjargal, Mandakhbayar Chuluunbaatar, and sports masters Zorigtbaatar Azjargal, Otgonkhuu D., Dolgoon E., and Amina Janbota.
In the speed discipline, Saikhanjargal won silver with a time of 19.90 seconds, marking the first medal for the Mongolian team this season in the World Cup. In the same competition, Otgonkhuu finished in 6th place, Kherlen in 15th, Zorigtbaatar in 17th, and Dolgoon in 32nd. Among women, Selenge finished in 4th place, while Amina came in 11th. Mandakhbayar was unable to complete the competition due to a technical error.
As for the "long-distance running" discipline, Selenge placed 36th among women, while Mandakhbayar also finished in 36th place among men, thus concluding the first performance of the Mongolian team in the World Cup.
