According to meteorological data, clear weather is expected from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on February 15, 2026. The wind will blow from the northwest at a speed of 4 to 9 meters per second in most areas.
In the areas around Lake Uvs, the Darhad Depression, the upper reaches of the Zavkhan River, and the Tes River valley, the air temperature will range from -22 to -27°C. In the Mongol-Altai, Khövsgöl, and Khangai mountains, as well as in the upper reaches of the Zag-Baidrag River, the temperature will be between -16 and -21°C. In the Khentii mountains and the valleys of the Orkhon, Selenge, Kharaa, Kherlen, and Khalkh rivers, temperatures are also expected to be within -16 to -21°C.
The temperature in the southwestern part of the Gobi region will range from +1 to -4°C, while in the basin of the Great Lakes, the foothills of the Khangai mountains, the northern part of the Gobi region, and the Dornod-Daryan steppe, it will be from -4 to -9°C, whereas in other areas, temperatures will fluctuate between -9 and -14°C.
As for the capital, Ulaanbaatar, clear skies and a light breeze are also forecasted, with temperatures ranging from -10 to -12°C.
