
The festival introduces guests to the magnificent winter landscapes of Mongolia, as well as its cultural traditions, national games, and emerging forms of winter extreme sports and adventure tourism.
This is already the 14th festival, which includes the following events and competitions:

Ulaanbaatar Ice Shooting Championship on Bones ("Мөсний шагай")
Ulaanbaatar Snowboarding Championship
Ulaanbaatar Paragliding Championship (Mountain Parachuting)
Ulaanbaatar Winter Rugby Championship
Ulaanbaatar Alpine Skiing Championship
Ulaanbaatar Curling Championship
Amateur Ice Climbing Competitions
Family Relay and Tug of War Competitions
"Big Tour" Competitions (Winter Cup) for students in the tourism sector











The festival program also includes performances by masters of folk art, educational events about the Mongolian dog breed Bankhar, skiing and sledding, as well as demonstrations of falconry and parachuting.

According to information from MiddleAsianNews, more than 1,000 athletes from Ulaanbaatar and all 21 provinces of Mongolia are participating in the festival, as well as over 50 athletes from other countries, including the Autonomous Region of Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang Uyghur, Russian regions of Buryatia, Kalmykia, and Tuva, as well as representatives from Kazakhstan and the USA.
The event is organized by the office of the governor of Ulaanbaatar, the capital's tourism department, and the Sky Resort ski complex. The festival will take place this weekend at the Sky Resort ski center.
