Sod-Erdene Naranbaatar
In Mongolia, 13 women have become pilots in the field of civil aviation. Among them is Enkhjin Khurelchuluun — the thirteenth and, most likely, the youngest. On September 8, 2022, she received the right to fly the Embraer E-190 jet, although she is currently serving as a co-pilot. Her professional future looks promising, considering she is only 26 years old.

Enkhjin Khurelchuluun
On August 18, 2025, a significant event occurred in the history of Mongolian aviation — the first all-female crew took to the skies.

This crew operated the flight Ulaanbaatar — Ereen-khoto — Ulaanbaatar on an Embraer-190 aircraft. The flight by HUNNU AIR became a symbol of women's progress in the aviation sector.

Sod-Erdene Naranbaatar
At that time, Sod-Erdene Naranbaatar became the second female pilot at Hunnu Air and successfully completed her first solo flight on November 29 of the same year.

Modern women are actively participating in all fields, and professions previously considered exclusively male are becoming accessible. This is confirmed by the achievements of Enkhjin Khurelchuluun and Sod-Erdene Naranbaatar, who made history as the first female pilots at Hunnu Air.
