Mongolia Won Medals at the 2025 Asian Youth Games

At the tournament, the best young athletes from the continent gathered, including representatives from Mongolia: Altanzul Altangadas, Aminaa Azjargal, and Olziitanaran Bat-Erdene. All of them performed admirably and brought medals to their country.

Altanzul Altangadas won a bronze medal in boxing in the weight category up to 46 kg. In the quarterfinals, she defeated the Japanese athlete Matsuri Kamemori, securing her place on the podium.

Aminaa Azjargal also won a bronze medal in boxing, competing in the category up to 54 kg. She managed to beat the Thai athlete Rujira Srifontong, demonstrating a high level of preparation and determination.

As for mixed martial arts, Olziitanaran Bat-Erdene took second place in the category up to 60 kg, becoming a silver medalist. He successfully advanced through the quarterfinals, defeating Kyrgyz athlete Gulmairam Abdykerimova, and then in the semifinals, he beat Kazakhstani athlete Telmankyzy Khadidzh. In the final, Bat-Erdene faced Iranian Tiama Dehpalavan.

These achievements highlight Mongolia's growing potential in the field of martial arts. Coaches and representatives of the federation noted the high level of discipline and determination among the athletes, stating that their success at the Asian Games was an important step for Mongolian boxing and MMA on the international stage.
