The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed information previously published in the media that the new Supreme Leader of the country, Mojtaba Khamenei, was injured.
The diplomatic agency noted that "he is feeling well."
According to The New York Times, citing its sources, Khamenei was injured on the day the attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran began, February 28. Due to this, the Supreme Leader has not appeared in public. Later, the son and advisor to the President of Iran, Yousef Pezeshkian, denied the rumors, stating that Khamenei is completely healthy.
According to available information, it is a minor injury, likely a leg injury.
