In Brussels, 80,000-100,000 people took to the streets in a march protesting against austerity reforms

Participants in the event, many of whom held placards and chanted slogans, marched through the central streets of the city. According to police, the number of protesters was around 80,000, while unions claim it was over 100,000.

Despite some isolated conflicts between protesters and police during the march, authorities noted that the event was largely peaceful. Medical workers provided assistance to several individuals injured in the clashes.
