Kim Jong Un and Kim Ju Ae were captured in a photograph released by the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA). The image shows the North Korean leader standing near the tank's turret, where the country's flag is fluttering, while his daughter peeks out from the driver's hatch.
On March 19, Kim Jong Un visited a training base, where he observed tactical exercises of infantry and tank units focused on a joint offensive. During the visit, he also familiarized himself with the combat characteristics of a new type of tank.
According to Kim Jong Un, this tank is the result of seven years of work. He added, "I am confident that there is no armored weapon in the world with such a powerful self-defense capability as this tank."
