According to information from the company F6, criminals have started using a new strategy to steal accounts in Telegram. They offer users to "check their activity" with the aim of obtaining a Premium subscription or "stars" — the internal currency of the messenger. Links to such offers are spread through TikTok and lead to phishing sites or malicious bots.

Typical names of such resources, like "Your Results 2025," "Yearly Results," or "Your 2025," emphasize the deceptive nature of the offers, as stated by experts from F6 (quote from TASS).

These sites and bots request login information and then demand a "confirmation code," which is actually a security code. Providing this code gives the scammers access to the account. Additionally, users may be coerced into subscribing to numerous "sponsor" channels, sometimes hiding the subscription buttons under inline buttons in messages.

Recently, another fraudulent scheme was also identified in Telegram, disguised as a "Secret Santa" game. Criminals sent invitations to participate and receive a gift from an unknown sender, offering to click on a phishing link. As a result, participants could automatically start downloading malware, giving scammers remote access to users' devices.
