Kyrgyzstan did not allow 15 tons of illegally imported kumis from Russia
At the veterinary control point "Ak-Tilek" in the Chui region, the illegal import of 15,600 liters of kumis from Russia was prevented. This was reported by representatives of the veterinary service, as well as livestock development and feed.

During the inspection, it was found that the packaging did not indicate the production date, which violates the veterinary and sanitary requirements of Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the inspection, relevant acts were drawn up, and the product was not allowed into the territory of the country.

The cargo was returned to Russia through the same "Ak-Tilek" point.

The agency noted that control over the quality of imported goods will be strengthened, and work to ensure food safety for citizens will continue.
