At the checkpoint "Ak-Tilek" in the Chui region, 11,720 kilograms of sausage products were discovered and sent back, which were attempted to be illegally imported into Kyrgyzstan from Russia.

As reported by Turmush, this information came from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The agency noted that the inspection was conducted by border veterinary control staff, who established that the veterinary and sanitary standards set by the Eurasian Economic Union were not complied with.

In this regard, the necessary acts were drawn up, and the import of this batch of products into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was prohibited.

Thus, the cargo was returned back through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint to Russia.
