About 12 tons of sausage products from Russia were not allowed into Kyrgyzstan

At the veterinary checkpoint "Ak-Tilek," located in the Chui region, a batch of sausages from Russia weighing 11,720 kg was discovered. The attempt to import these products into the territory of Kyrgyzstan was deemed illegal, as confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture.

During the inspection, it was found that veterinary and sanitary requirements established for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union were not met.

“In this regard, the necessary documents were drawn up, and the import of this batch was prohibited. The cargo was sent back to the Russian Federation through the "Ak-Tilek" checkpoint,” the press release states.
