The construction of the new facility is located in the rural area of Bash-Dobo, within the territory of the village of Kosh-Korgon, on a site covering 4.71 hectares. The project was implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The total cost of the works amounted to 2,502,634 euros, of which:
- 1,752,261 euros - grant;
- 750,373 euros - loan.
The opening of the new treatment plant will provide residents of Uzgen and surrounding settlements with quality utility services. This is an important step towards improving the ecology of the region and enhancing the living standards of the local population.
