22 tons of salt for livestock from Uzbekistan were not allowed into Kyrgyzstan

At the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in the city of Osh, at the veterinary border control point "Dostuk," a shipment from Uzbekistan containing 22 tons of salt for livestock was stopped. According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, this shipment did not receive permission for import into Kyrgyzstan.

An inspection conducted by border veterinary inspectors revealed violations of veterinary and sanitary standards established by the Eurasian Economic Union. In particular, the accompanying veterinary documents for the shipment were found to be inconsistent with the necessary requirements.
As a result of the inspection, a report was drawn up stating that the shipment was subject to return, and ultimately, the goods were sent back through the "Dostuk" control point.
