In the Chui region, the activities of an organized crime group consisting of driving school directors have been suppressed.
According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, agency employees discovered a group engaged in the production of fake certificates for completing traffic rules courses and finishing training at driving schools.
The group included directors of several private driving schools: B.T. (driving school "Z.A.") and M.A. (driving school "Z.Z.A."). They used intermediary I.T. and other individuals to illegally obtain funds from citizens located outside the Kyrgyz Republic, ranging from 40,000 to 120,000 soms through the electronic wallet "MBank." At the same time, documents confirming training were forged, without the actual presence of students.
“The criminals, after receiving the money, fictitiously registered citizens on the state portal and issued certificates of course completion, without conducting any theoretical or practical training. This allowed them to take exams to obtain driver's licenses,” the statement noted.
It was established that through one of the intermediaries, 244 people were enrolled in driving schools, which brought the organizers 2,760,850 soms,” the agency added.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 379 (Forgery of Documents) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The organizers of the criminal scheme: I.T., M.A., and B.T. have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the searches, 200 driver registration logs, 160 forged certificates of course completion, 264 other documents, 8 electronic information carriers, and one hunting rifle with 40 cartridges were seized. All these items have been recognized as physical evidence in the case.
A channel for producing fake vehicle registration certificates and transit license plates, which were imported from different countries, was also identified.
The investigation is ongoing.
