Recently, the State Tax Service (STS) published an investigation titled "Oil for Themselves: How Kyrgyzneftegaz Was Ruined," which reveals possible illegal actions among the company's management. This material indicated that due to the activities of intermediaries and the misallocation of resources, the company could have lost over 4 billion soms. An analysis of financial operations from 2021 to 2025 identified three schemes through which profits were siphoned off to private entities, possibly linked to the circle of the former head of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), Kamchybek Tashiev.
Detained individuals:
- N.N., former chairman of the board of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz," born in 1983;
- A.R., former deputy chairman of the board and director of one of the affiliated companies, born in 1980;
- A.N., director of another affiliated company, born in 1988;
- M.B., former director of a related company, born in 1990.
All detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
