In response, the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) has stated the possibility of attacks on universities in Israel and the United States located in the Middle East.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) emphasized that all educational institutions in the region could become legitimate targets if retaliatory measures are not taken against Iranian universities.
“We strongly advise all students, faculty, and staff of American universities in this region to keep at least one kilometer away from these educational institutions for their safety,” the official statement noted.
Additionally, the IRGC demands that the United States condemn the strikes on Iranian universities to avoid retaliatory actions against American educational institutions, setting a deadline for this requirement—noon on March 30.
