This situation may affect the health of the population
According to information from Kyrgyzhydromet, in Bishkek, the levels of harmful substances in the air have exceeded the norm by 2.33 times. This data was obtained for the period from October 24 to 30.
In particular, the concentration of pollutants showed the following results: the level of nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) exceeded the norm by 1.75 times; formaldehyde — by 2.33 times; particulate matter PM₁₀ — by 1.8 times; particulate matter PM₂.₅ — by 1.2 times.
Experts warn that such a high content of harmful substances in the air may have a negative impact on the health of the city's residents.
